***TENTATIVE TURBO RULES ***

WE CAN RUN TURBOS BUT ADD ENOUGH WEIGHT TO KEEP THEM IN LINE WITH EVERYONE ELSE. RIGHT NOW SB TURBO IS 3350. I SUGGESTED NO TURBOS BECAUSE I DIDN'T WANT TO HEAR THE BITCHIN IF WE ADD WEIGHT.. LOOKS LIKE I'M GOING TO GET BITCHIN ANYWAY.

EVERYONE PRETTY WELL KNOWS WHAT NITROUS BB CHEVYS AND NITROUS SB CHEVYS RUN.. WE HAVE A GOOD IDEA OF THE WEIGHT BREAKS TO KEEP THE CLASS KIND OF EVEN. WE DON'T KNOW WHAT TURBO STUFF CAN RUN SO IT'S JUST A GUESS HOW MUCH WEIGHT TO ADD.

I GUESS THE PROBLEM WITH LETTING TURBOS RUN, NOBODY KNOWS REALLY WHAT WEIGHT BREAKS TO USE. EVERYTHING ELSE IS LIMITED WITH WEIGHT BREAKS. IT IS ALL DONE TO KEEP THE FIELDS CLOSE.

UNTIL WE CAN FIGURE OUT THE CORRECT WEIGHT BREAKS FOR TURBOS THE WEIGHTS WILL BE ADJUSTED ON A ROUND BY ROUND BASES. A TURBO CAR THAT GOES .04 QUICKER THAN THE NUMBER #1 QUALIFIER HE GETS #100 ADDED BEFORE OR DURING THE RACE. NHRA HAS A SIMILAR DEAL THEY DO IN COMP ELIMINATOR BUT THEY ADJUST THE INDEX. WE WILL ADJUST THE WEIGHT.

TURBOS CAN RUN IN 8.5 OUTLAW BUT THE WEIGHTS WILL BE ADJUSTED ROUND BY ROUND. THESE ARE THE RULES NOW AND THIS IS WHERE WE WILL START: SB TURBOS START AT #3350, BB TURBOS START AT #3550. IF A TURBO GOES .04 QUICKER THAN THE #1 NON TURBO QUALIFIER IN QUALIFYING OR DURING THE RACE, ADD #100 FOR THE NEXT ROUND. IF YOU GO MORE THAN .04 IN THE FINAL ROUND YOU GET RUNNER UP MONEY.

 

 

ALL DRIVERS, PIT CREW AND FAMILY MEMBERS WILL BE EXPECTED TO ACT IN A PROFESSIONAL MANNER. IT IS THE DRIVERS RESPONSIBILITY TO ENSURE THAT ALL PIT CREW MEMBERS AS WELL AS FAMILY MEMBERS ADHERE TO THIS RULE, ANY VIOLATION WILL RESULT IN DISQUALIFICATION AND LOSS OF ENTRY FEES, IF DEEMED SERIOUS ENOUGH OR IT BECOMES A PROBLEM AT LATER RACES IT IS UP TO THE DISCRETION OF TXDRL TO BAN THE INDIVIDUAL FROM FUTURE RACES.
